Moratorium: Hurricane Debby

Effective immediately this moratorium is LIFTED for all classes besides contractors. The moratorium will be lifted for contractors on 8/26. Contractor policies effective on or after 8/26 may be quoted and bound as normal.

Effective immediately, a binding moratorium is in place for the following counties within the state of Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, as well as increased limit changes to Florida, due to Hurricane Debby until after the event. NOTE: The moratorium for Florida remains in affect.

The following counties in the state of Georgia: Camden, Brantley, Charlton, Glynn, Wayne, McIntosh, Long, Liberty, Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Tattnall, Evans, Bullock, Screven, Appling, Pierce

The following counties in the state of North Carolina: Beaufort, Brunswick, Camden, Carteret, Chowan, Craven, Currituck, Dare, Hyde, Jones, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico, Pender, Perquimans, Pasquotank, Tyrrell, Washington

The following counties in the state of South Carolina: Jasper, Hampton, Beaufort, Colleton, Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley, Williamsburg, Georgetown, Marion, Horry

All requests to change the Attune BOP (Accredited) coverage (adding new business, any increase in limits or addition of new locations on existing business, or any changes in existing coverage and deductibles) in the above counties are under a binding moratorium until further notice. New business contractors will be subject to an additional waiting period after the moratorium. This will not apply to renewal accounts within this segment.
